This adaptation of the Dr. "M" employs the exclusive elastic dogbone strap, designed to apply specific pressure over the lateral and medial menisci. This pressure over the felt horseshoe buttress also provides a positive track for problem patellar tracking. Elastic dogbone straps attach above and below the patellar opening with the aid of hook-and-loop fasteners without interfering with normal patellar tracking. The 2 standard straps provide a secure locking of the elastic straps while providing a customized fit.
